OUR VISION

OUR VALUES

“Caring and achieving excellence in a Christian community”

In order to fulfil our mission we aim to:

  • provide for all children a Christian education which is rooted in the Catholic tradition
  • enable all children to reach the highest levels of achievement and prepare them for a life-long learning experience
  • develop each individual:  spiritually, morally, emotionally, socially, intellectually and physically
  • treat each person in a way which recognises and respects the equal and inestimable value of each unique human being
  • reflect community values through the collective responsibility of all adults for all children
  • provide a safe, caring environment in which children can experience security and be educationally challenged
  • provide a strong partnership with parents, parishes and the wider community and enable pupils to take an active part in their community

Fulfilling our Mission is inextricably linked to the support of British Values such as:

  • Democracy
  • Respect of the rule of law
  • Appreciation of the rights of other citizens
  • Individual liberty
  • The promotion of opportunities for all
  • Support for those who cannot, by themselves, sustain a dignified life-style
  • Religious tolerance and respect for cultural diversity
  • Treating others with fairness
  • Participation in community life
  • The contribution to, as well as the benefit from, cultural and economic resources
